Expression studies apply to masks, helmets, faces, UI portraits, and boss weak-point states.
Expression Surfaces
| Surface | How Expression Reads |

| Mask | eye shape, brow angle, mouth cut, tilt |
| Helmet | visor shape, glow, silhouette angle |
| Face | eyes, mouth, cheek compression, head tilt |
| Creature or boss core | glow intensity, cracks, vents, shape change |

- Idle
- Focused
- Angry
- Damaged
- Victory
- KO
Rules
- Expressions must remain readable at UI portrait scale.
- Do not rely on tiny mouth pixels for masked characters.
- Use pose and head angle when facial area is covered.
